Another way to understand Multipersonhood is to talk again about my friend Will Ives who committed suicide in February of 1976. I can find Will on the Monadic plane. The Monadic plane is the Unity plane; itâs the plane where I find the Hindu concept of the Atman, equivalent to the talmudic Jewish mystical concept of sparks. Each of us has a spark that comes off of All That Is. I perceive the Atman as very much like a spark that comes off of All That Is, and that spark is what gives rise to you.
What I see when I look at my friend Will Ives, who committed suicide in 1976, is that, by the earlyto mid-nineties, he had found a kind of eternal dance where he had been through various subsequent incarnations, so he was wiser and more wonderful and more at ease and exploring multiple directions simultaneously without losing his Will-ness. As Iâve become more psychic, I can communicate with Will directly any time I want. Death changes people. Heâs changed, but heâs still Will in all his beauty and uniqueness. Before he died, heâd tell you how miserable he was, but he did it with such panache that it never was believable. He made his complaints a work of art.
I first saw Will in this way sometime in the nineties. I was shocked to see him because I knew that he had already reincarnated, but when I saw this beautiful purple ribbon, it was Will on the Monadic plane, a kind of curved ribbon of light but definitely Will. It was the Will that I had known but really, really calm and happy. He had gone through this depth, and the Will that I had known had become wise and serene and joyful. But also, because of his experiences that were so stressful and hard, he had committed suicide. All of that was integrated into Will now, part of what made him uniquely Will.
And, just as an aside, the reason experiencing your life as a human being is so important is that itâs a large part of your eternal dowry. You never have a chance to be this physical again. And no matter how good or awful your experience is, the more of it that youâve engaged courageously, the more you there is for eternityâand all of it will eventually be in that serene joy. People want to know, Why do I have to work off past-life debts? I didnât do them. This is a little hard to track but, before youâre born, you get to choose whether you will even exist. Itâs another one of these things that doesnât fit in Western logic. So, before Will was born, he got to choose whether he would be Will. This spark on the Monadic plane got to choose to be Will and it chose to be Will. It was a good choice in some ways.
Each of us has chosen to be ourselves with the karma that we have.
